Latest News: By-elections coming up in our villages

Following the sad death of Cllr John Ades on June 2nd, there will be three by-elections in Ash, Ash Green and Tongham.
There will be a by-election to the Guildford Borough Council seat of Ash South and Tongham.
There will also be an election to Surrey County Council, in the Ash County Division. Also, there is now a vacancy on Ash Parish Council.
The elections are expected to be very close between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats.
The Lib Dem candidates will be selected shortly by local members - with a number of excellent local members already expressing an interest.
The by-elections are expected to be called for the end of July.
