Shadow Chancellor Backs Denise Smith

The Liberal Democrats' Deputy Leader and Shadow Chancellor, Vince Cable MP came to Ash & Tongham last Sunday to throw his weight behind Denise Smith's campaign.
The popular Twickenham MP said:
"I'd heard about Denise's campaign from my colleagues in this area and wanted to meet her for myself! She's an incredibly independent lady, who's worked hard for her local community and has an impressive sporting record too. I think she would be an excellent Councillor for the local area and urge everyone to support her, whatever their normal political preference, on Friday 28th."
Denise said "It was great to have such a distinguished MP with us today, I hope the people of Ash, Ash Vale, Ash Green and Tongham decide to give me their support on Friday 28th too."
