Parking Problems Eased

Liberal Democrat Heatherside Councillor, Fran Bennie, has worked with the County Council to ensure more efficient use of communal parking areas on Heatherside, resulting in the installation of 'T' dividing markers.
With so many more cars, residents of car-owning age and shared houses, parking has become a growing problem on Heatherside. The estate was built in the early '70s for young families and parking was not such an issue then. The garage blocks have not proved successful as they are too far from the houses and generally have become run down.
White lining of the parking areas has helped ease the situation by making more efficient use of the space. Please contact Fran on 01276 61793 or fran.bennie@surreyheath.gov.uk if there are any other areas on Heatherside where you feel white markings would help alleviate parking problems.
