Potholes in Broadwalk, which with Warren Rise is in urgent need of resurfacing
Lib Dem Cllr Bob Smith has called on Surrey County Council to improve the surfaces of roads on the Warren Rise estate.
In the opinion of local residents, the road surface of the main loop road through the estate is in an unacceptable condition. The main problems are in Warren Rise itself and in Broadwalk, where significant potholes are opening up. However, there are also some side roads (like Holly Hedge Close) in far from ideal condition.
Cllr Smith said: "I have contacted the County Council directly on this matter and asked them to raise the priority of road repairs on the estate. We were pleased when Longmeadow was resurfaced a couple of years ago, and now local residents would like to see action taken on what is actually a worse problem."
