Cllr Duncan Clark will be leading the campaign against over-development

Local Lib Dems believe local roads and services will not be able to cope with a potential development of 5,000 houses at Deepcut.

The Government has announced that Deepcut Barracks are to close in 2013 and the land sold off. This could lead to a massive development in the area.

Cllr Duncan Clark said "We will be leading the campaign for regeneration of the area and smaller scale affordable housing and oppose any unsustainable, over-development of the area.
