"Nothing to do with me!" was Conservative County Councillor's reaction to the confusion over School planning permission.

Recently, there was a meeting at Frimley C of E School, which discussed whether planning permission had been granted for the development of the swimming pool. Tory County Councillor Chris Pitt - also the Vice Chair of governors at the school - was challenged over whether planning permission had been granted. He appeared unsure and unable to provide adequate answers to questions raised. Residents expressed a view that it was reasonable to expect him, given his association with the school, to know what was going on and to clarify the situation.

Liberal Democrat campaigner Cindy Ferguson said, "It comes as a great surprise to me that Councillor Pitt appears so ignorant of planning requirements."

In addition to meeting the needs of the school, the swimming pool is a popular community facility but it attracts increased traffic and problems with parking for many local residents.
