The Tory-run County Council has decided to cut bus services, pot-hole repairs, gritting and road gully clearing.
The Lib Dems want to improve and increase services such as road maintenance, buses, youth services and urgent school building repairs. This would be done by reducing back office and administrative costs, agency staff and very expensive consultants.
Cindy Ferguson, Lib Dem campaigner said, "The Tories have recently added 23 administrative jobs to the payroll and, after the June elections, they will cut evening and weekend bus services".
