Mytchett - NO Flight increase - Cindy Ferguson

Plane approaching Farnborough Airfield County Council Candidate Cindy Ferguson would work to ensure there was no flight increase at Farnborough Airfield.

Cindy told our website, "As your Liberal Democrat Councillor on Surrey County Council I would work hard to oppose the proposals by TAG to massively increase the number of flights allowed. Whilst I have been calling on residents in Mytchett over the last few weeks, I have become very aware of how your quality of life is being adversely affected by aircraft noise, pollution and visual intrusion over your properties.

I have been saddened to hear how your daily life and especially the enjoyment of your weekends have been badly affected.

Lib Dems across Surrey Heath, Rushmoor and Hart districts have put forward their own Plan. This recognises the contribution the Airfield makes to the local economy and supports the continued provision of executive business flying. But it opposes any increase in flights which would adversely affect public safety or the quality of life".
