Graphic for the Goldsworth East and Horsell Campaign

Introducing Lance

  • Lance has lived in the area for over 35 years and in the Horsell community for the last 11 years.
  • He is married with grown up children, the youngest of whom attended Woking High School. He brings the experience of bringing up 3 children and being a foster carer to two teenage children.
  • Most recently he has trained to be a debt coach, which has given him a great insight into the difficulties faced by those most in need in our communities.
  • Lance is Chairman of the Surrey Heath Liberal Democrats but in this election is standing for a Division entirely within the Woking Constituency.

Personal Statement

The challenges faced across Surrey are complex and require both local knowledge and a broad experience. Horsell Village and Goldsworth Park are unique communities and have very specific needs and opportunities.

My focus will be on Community, Care and Climate. Each is immensely challenging, but without clear direction, based on local experience, we will not be able to hand over to our children and their children a community where they can live life to the full.

I believe that together with Liberal Democrat candidates across Surrey we can break the stranglehold of the Tory dominated Surrey County Council and make a real difference over the next four years.

I would be honoured to represent my Goldsworth East & Horsell Village neighbours on Surrey County Council and ask you to vote for me and my colleagues on 6th May.
